About us

Capio Ortho Center Gothenburg is part of Capio Orthopedics, a network of 13 orthopedic clinics in Sweden. We are one of Gothenburg's largest elective units outside hospitals, offering highly specialized orthopedic care. Our operations include an operating department, a care department, and a reception. With around 100 employees, we are located at Sahlgrenska Hospital in central Gothenburg.

The operating department has three operating rooms equipped with state-of-the-art ventilation and equipment. Our care department has seven care places. We are a dynamic and forward-looking team working in a healthcare environment where strong team spirit and patient needs are at the center. We always strive to provide care of the highest medical quality.

Our patients come through care guarantees and from insurance companies. We have short decision-making paths and focus on long-term quality. We offer high patient-doctor continuity and short lead times from assessment to surgery, as well as very high patient and staff satisfaction.

We perform both cemented and uncemented primary arthroplasties in the hip and knee. The work is conducted during the day, Monday to Friday, no evenings or weekends.

Your role

You are a specialist in orthopedics with several years of clinical experience in hip and knee arthroplasties. You independently perform all types of prosthetic surgeries. Experience in revision surgery is considered an advantage.

We are looking for someone who takes responsibility for their work and wants to work closely with patients in an efficient operation. The clinical and operational work is what drives you.

You have a strong sense of responsibility, are service-oriented, and engaged. You work to achieve good care in daily operations and contribute to improving patient safety, patient interaction, and care quality in accordance with the clinic's goals.
